Goodreads’ 2017 Awards: Vote Nigerian Authors

Four authors of Nigerian decent have made the list of the final round of nominees in this year’s Goodreads awards in different categories ranging from nonfiction, science fiction, fiction to debut Goodreads author category. The authors and their works are:

Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie (Dear Ijeawele, or A Feminist Manifesto in Fifteen Suggestions), Nnedi Okorafor’s (Home), Lesley Nneka Arimah’s (What It Means When a Man Falls from the Sky) and Ayobami Adebayo (Stay with Me)

The first two rounds have gone and, after 2,983,877 votes cast, Dear Ijeawele and Home are still in the competition. The final round of voting will last from November 14-27 and the winners will be announced on December 5.
